- Coordination with the person’s support plan and responsible team.
Who it may support
This service may be appropriate for a person who lives in their own home, does not receive continuous supervision, and would otherwise require extensive routine supervision—or for someone living with a primary caregiver who needs a dependable way to secure help during an emergency.
Important distinction
Twenty-four-hour assistance is not a public intake or emergency line. It is available only to enrolled clients receiving in-home services when included in their authorized plan. It does not replace 911 when there is an injury, immediate danger, or medical emergency.
